These terms apply when you book or attend a Lenka Academy workshop, demo class or program through foundation.lenkaacademy.com or lenkaacademy.com ("we", "us"). By booking, you agree to them. Please read them together with our Privacy Policy.
1. Who can book
Bookings must be made by a parent or guardian for a student in the class the workshop or program is meant for. By booking, you confirm that you are the student's parent or guardian and that the details you give are correct.
2. Paid workshops
- Workshops are live on Zoom. The date, time, length and fee are shown on the booking page when you pay.
- After payment, we send the Zoom link and reminders to the WhatsApp number and email you give us. Please check they are correct.
- Each booking is for one student. Please do not share the Zoom link.
- You need a phone, tablet or computer with Zoom and a stable internet connection. We are not responsible for a class missed because of problems with your device or connection.
3. Payment
Payments are processed securely by Razorpay. You pay the price shown at checkout, in Indian Rupees. A booking is confirmed only once the payment succeeds; you will receive a confirmation on WhatsApp and a receipt from Razorpay.
4. Rescheduling and refunds
- Can't make it? Tell us on WhatsApp before your batch starts, and we will move your seat once to any later batch of the same workshop, free of charge.
- No cash refunds are given for a missed workshop or a change of mind.
- If we cancel or move a batch and none of the new timings suit you, we will refund the full fee.
- Charged twice or charged by mistake? Tell us and we will refund the extra payment in full.
- Refunds go back to the original payment method within 7 working days of approval. Your bank may take a few more days to show it.
5. Free demo classes
Demo classes are free and carry no obligation to join a program. We send the Zoom link on WhatsApp before the class. We may change a demo's time or date; if we do, we will tell you on WhatsApp.
6. Year-long program
Registration, fees and refunds for the year-long Foundation program are handled on lenkaacademy.com. The terms and refund rules shown there, and confirmed to you during the enrolment call, apply to the program.
7. In the live class
Students should be respectful to teachers and classmates. We may mute or remove anyone who disrupts a class, shares inappropriate content or joins without a booking, without a refund.
8. Recordings and materials
Class recordings, notes, the workshop magazine and other materials belong to Lenka Academy. They are for the registered student's personal study only. Please do not copy, share, upload or sell them. Classes may be recorded; see our Privacy Policy for details.
9. Messages and calls
By booking, you agree that we may contact you on WhatsApp, by phone and by email about your booking and about our classes and programs. You can ask us to stop program updates at any time by replying "STOP" or telling us.
10. Our responsibility
We work hard to make every class useful, but we do not guarantee particular marks or results. We may change the teacher, content or schedule of a class when needed and will tell you if we do. As far as the law allows, our total responsibility for any booking is limited to the fee you paid for it.
11. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms from time to time; the date at the top shows the latest version, and the terms in force when you book apply to that booking. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Hyderabad, Telangana have jurisdiction.
